Here’s the video for Make Out’s new single, “You Can’t Be Friends With Everyone”! The video was directed by John Threat and Diane Martel and features bandmates Jesper Mortensen (“Junior” of Junior Senior fame) and Leah Hennessey wrecking some serious havoc. The song was produced by Peter Wade and Amanda Warner of MNDR and was recorded and mixed in WonderSound by Emmett Farley.

Translations rock WonderSound

Brooklyn indie rock buzz band, Translations, stopped in at WonderSound and became the first full band to record live in the new space.  In a whirlwind session, Translations belted out their song “Push” through sticks and strings, amps and microphones, and onto 16-track analog tape.

Rihanna voices Tip Pon Toe for WonderSound Records

WonderSound latest riddim project “Tip Pon Toe” has leaked to the internet. Named after Rihanna’s scorching version (penned by Peter Wade and Angela Hunte (who also penned “New York” for Alicia Keys and Jay-Z)), the “Tip Pon Toe” riddim also features wicked versions from Spragga Benz, Shelene, Don Rey and Stamma Ramma and is now voicing additional artists.  Check it out here:

WonderSound's Peter Wade tapped for ASCAP Songwriters Panel

In house producer, Peter Wade was recently tapped as an industry guest for this year’s ASCAP Foundation Paul Cunningham Songwriters Workshop. The workshop features guest speakers giving advice on topics including A&R, songwriting, music publishing, artist management, legal issues, etc.

Peter listened to and critiqued songs, and spoke about the music business from his perspective, writing and producing both mainstream pop music as well as developing  homegrown independent artists.
